Fritzy was found roaming near Ashdod. She was weak and one of her eyes was hurt.
Only after she was rescued it became clear she was a nursing mother, and her eight little ones had been left all alone out there.
The volunteers wouldn’t give up, and searched well into the night.
Around 2 a.m. they found all 8 babies, and brought them to Fritzy at the hospital.
Fritzy, almost blind, wouldn’t stop licking them.
Now the whole family is under our care. Fritzy needs tests, medical treatments and most likely surgery.
9 souls rescued in one night, but the road to recovery is just beginning.
