The Dogs

Tamir – 2 years old

Tamir was found in a village all alone. He doesn't look like a dog at all. He suffered from malnutrition, a severe skin disease and life-threatening parasites. After long months of hospitalization, he has fully recovered and with a new, white and amazing coat, he is now waiting for adopters who can be proud of his amazing story. A gentle and kind dog, a little afraid at first meeting. Suitable for a family with experience in raising dogs and patience. Gets along with dogs and is not aggressive. Medium energy level

Hermon

Hermon was found by soldiers in the northern region on the Lebanese border while there was heavy fighting there. A dog with a broken leg, He probably walked around for at least 3 weeks with this broken leg, probably caused by a run-over. He also had an open, infected fracture that caused him severe pain. we rescued him and took him to a hospital where he underwent orthopedic surgery. He then went to our clinic for rehabilitation which lasted about two months and is now in the shelter waiting for a home. A large dog, weighing 27 kg, gets along with other dogs, with people. He has a good temperament, friendly and cute. Would suit a family or an individual who wants a large and strong dog with a medium high energy level.

Ducky - 2 years old

ducky

Ducky came to us from Ramallah on August 27, 2024. His right ear was severely infected, necrotic, and infested with maggots. He was in very poor physical condition, so we rushed him immediately to the veterinary hospital. After a long hospitalization, he was released into our clinic in Ashkelon for continued treatment

X-rays revealed old fractures in his pelvis and hind legs that could no longer be treated due to the time that had passed. His recovery was very long and difficult given his condition, but we never gave up on him. Today, Ducky is a wonderful, friendly dog. He gets along well with other dogs and, although a little shy at first meetings, he quickly learns to trust and relax once he realizes he’s safe

Age: About 2 years old

Weight: 21 kg

Temperament: Sweet, social, trusting once comfortable

Medical history: Fully vaccinated, walks with a slight limp from old fractures, which only adds to his charm

Nika - 10 months

nika

Nika was taken in by our organization on June 10, 2025, after being rescued from a Bedouin village and transferred to the Arad municipal pound. The pound reached out to us for help, and we brought her to a veterinary hospital for further care

Upon arrival, she was weak, had difficulty standing, and could not bear weight on her front left leg. Sadly, the leg showed no pain response, and X-rays revealed a fracture in the L2 vertebra and a fracture of the left acetabulum in the caudal third. It was decided to amputate the front left leg, as there was no chance of recovery. The other fractures were managed conservatively with strict rest for 8 weeks. After hospitalization, she was transferred to our clinic for continued treatment

Today, Nika is a wonderful young dog – gentle, affectionate, and friendly with everyone: people, dogs, and even cats.

Age: About 10 months

Weight: 20 kg

Medical status: Fully vaccinated, spayed

Temperament: Sweet, gentle, and very social

Special note: Three-legged but thriving her resilience and charm shine through
