Nika’s passport

Nika went through hell. She got to us crushed. The struggle was rough and she lost one front leg.
But Nika never stopped for a second. She made a full recovery, running and playing – an amazing three-legged pooch.
Here in Israel, we couldn’t get anyone to really see her, to look beyond her ‘disability’ and see her huge soul.
Then came her angel, Zach Skow. He saw an opportunity, not a disability. He made the match between Nika and Jennifer in the United States – a woman with a huge heart and a home full of love.
When everyone else saw what was missing, Jennifer saw what was there. She opened her heart, and her passport.
Zach accompanied Nika on her flight to her new life. And today, Nika is home, with another three-legged dog and three cats. She is loved and safe, exactly where she belongs.
