Some wars can’t be won alone.
Chuchu has been through that.
He tried to survive on the street, but didn’t stand a chance facing a pack.
When he got to us, his body told the whole story:
Deep gashes, torn lip, both ears injured, one beyond salvaging.
But Chuchu wouldn’t give up.
Even in so much pain, he hung on.
Today, after surgeries and rehabilitation, he’s in a different place.
His body is healing, his hair is growing back, and his heart is just waiting to believe it’s really over.
He needs a safe place where he wouldn’t have to fight anymore.
