Goodbye beloved Yifati.
A ginger princess who came to us at the age of two months old and was overlooked for 5 years.
This blind beauty grew up at the shelter amongst dozens of other cats and never felt comfortable. Her blindess wasn’t the issue, it was just that she was quiet and gentle and always looked for a peaceful spot to lay in the sun.
She hated winter time and always found ways to amuse herself, playing with leaves as if it was the fanciest cat toy out there.
She came down with jaundice and blood work showed her kidneys were in terrible state. She was admitted to the clinic but it was as if she had given up on life, with no one to see her.
It’s such a waste for people to miss out on such great love just because they pass by those cats and dogs who are older or have a disability. If only people would shut their eyes and open their hearts.
We saw you, Yifati, and we loved you. You will always be in our hearts.
