Whenever there’s a state of emergency the Ministry of Agriculture once again clearly has no plan of action.
4 months into the war and the Ministry of Agriculture warns against the danger of stray dogs in the Gaza Envelope. And their solution? As always, killing – this time they plan to use poison baits, which means all sorts of other animals will die in agony as well as the dogs.
In the previous Knesset, we pushed a bill for a CNVR pilot, and the Ministry of Agriculture objected. Despite the fact that years of killing dogs have left us in the same situation, if not worse, no alternatives were suggested, no plan was put in place, especially not for a state of emergency.
